Application & Use
How do I use Tummzy?
Step 1:
Open the packaging by hand (do not cut) and remove the heat patch.
Step 2:
Remove the protective film from the back of the heat patch.
Step 3:
Apply the heat patch with the adhesive side to your clothing over the painful area. Do not apply it directly to your skin!

How do I activate Tummzy?
The patch warms up as soon as you open the small packet by hand. Through contact with oxygen, it warms up in less than 5 minutes and reaches its full heat output after 20–30 minutes.
Where can I use Tummzy?
We recommend applying Tummzy to your abdomen or lower back. You can choose the location based on your discomfort. Be careful not to apply Tummzy directly to your skin and avoid delicate fabrics such as silk, cashmere, or lace.
When should I use Tummzy?
Whenever you have period pain – or simply when you are cold and want warmth.
Can I wear Tummzy at night while I sleep?
Tummzy is also generally suitable for nighttime use. If the heat becomes too intense, please remove the patch immediately – just as you would with a hot water bottle.
Can I use Tummzy while exercising?
Yes, you can wear Tummzy even during light exercise like yoga. Make sure it stays in place and doesn't slip. During intense workouts, sweat and additional heat can irritate your skin, so Tummzy isn't suitable for that.
Can Tummzy be applied directly to the skin?
No, please don't. Tummzy shouldn't be applied directly to the skin—the heat can cause skin irritation. Instead, stick it to a T-shirt or the inside of your pants over the sore area.
How warm does Tummzy get?
Up to 53°C. Since heat perception varies from individual to individual, you should remove the patch if it gets too hot.
Can I reuse Tummzy?
No, Tummzy only heats up once, but it remains effective for up to 12 hours. You can remove it during this time and reapply it to another piece of clothing.
Can I wear Tummzy under tight clothing or with a belt?
Basically yes, but make sure that no uncomfortable pressure points develop.
Can I use Tummzy during pregnancy?
During pregnancy, you should only use Tummzy after consulting your doctor. This way, you can ensure that the heat is safe for you and your baby.
Does Tummzy have side effects?
Not during normal use. If you experience sensitivity or find the heat uncomfortable, remove the patch immediately.

Only natural ingredients: iron, activated carbon, and water. No chemicals, no additives.
Is Tummzy a medical device?
Yes, Tummzy is a Class IIa medical device, TÜV-certified. If you have certain pre-existing conditions (e.g., diabetes, heart or circulatory problems) or are pregnant, you should consult your doctor beforehand.
How long does Tummzy last?
3 years – the exact expiration date can be found on the packaging.

How sustainable is Tummzy?
The patch is packaged in plastic because it is activated by oxygen. We've kept the amount as small as possible. Dispose of the patch and packaging with your household waste.

Yes, you can also order Tummzy as a convenient subscription. Choose between a 6- or 12-month subscription and receive your heat patches regularly and conveniently at home—without having to remember to reorder.
How long does delivery take?
Within Switzerland and Liechtenstein: 3–5 business days (free shipping with Swiss Post). We currently do not offer international shipping.
Can I return Tummzy?
Yes, within 14 days, as long as the packaging is unopened.
